The Seahorse Spa welcomes massage and bodywork clients to a serene retreat from the outside world. Joseph is licensed to practice in North Carolina, and offers are variety special treatment techniques and modalities. Whether seeking to reduce stress and anxiety, address chronic pain, or simply to add a dynamic approach to your self care plan, Joseph is happy to assist.
Joseph will discuss with a client his/her health history and wellness goals. Certain medical conditions may prevent or alter a massage therapist’s treatment for a client. All Seahorse professionals will work to ensure our guest’s services are safe, effective and enjoyable.
Seahorse owner, Joseph E. Zajkowski Wright is a licensed massage therapist and treats clients onsite with limited appointments available.
MEET JOSEPH
Joseph attended massage and bodywork therapy training at GTCC. He holds additional certification in Neuromuscular Therapy, a proven approach to pain management and can address such issues as TMJ disfunction, headaches, range of motion limitations, and more. He has trained directly with Judith Delaney, LMT, founder of the American version of NMT. Additionally, he is certified in Assisted Body Stretch, which combined with therapeutic massage can foster highly successful results.
Joseph is a certified instructor of Neuromuscular Therapy. He also teaches Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology and Kinesiology for massage therapy students.
The latest addition to the Seahorse Spa is the most advanced light therapy system available, offering full body red light, NIR and blue light for the body. This effective therapy can be offered with a massage service or as a stand alone treatment to address pain and inflammation, boost muscle recovery, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, stimulate hair growth, and more.
Each session is customized to the clients needs and requests. Joseph includes essential oils, hot towels, vibration technology, deep tissue tools, etc. at no additional charge.
Add-ons, such as indulgent foot and body scrubs, hot salt stone massage, and more are available.
All services are customized for the client.

Red Light Therapy

Experience the latest, cutting-edge light therapy. Our full-body panel emits red light, blue light, and near infrared therapy all in one amazing session experienced from the comfort of a relaxing massage table. The session is also customizable. Our system is quite powerful, and positively impacts the body's surface through deep tissue penetration, based on the range of therapeutic light waves. By stimulating the mitochondria in cells they have more energy to do their work. The proven benefits include; collagen and elastin production, reduction of inflammation, speeding up recovery, reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, and more. Multiple sessions per week will garner the best results. We suggest 2-3 per week. Weekly packages are available, as well as a range of appointment options.

POLICIES
We appreciate you and want you and all guests to have a wonderful, transformative experience. As a result we have developed a few policies in striving to achieve the most efficient and successful visit.
Please note, this is a home-based business. However, we do have signage designating the business entrance and salon and spa areas from the private residence areas.
Advance reservations required for all services at The Seahorse.
Accepted forms of payment are credit cards, cash, and Zelle.
Please park ONLY on our side of the street, and ONLY in front of our house and business. Please make the best use of space by pulling close to the car in front of you.
We will attempt to be accommodating when clients are running behind, but please know appointment schedules are often tight. A late arrive may result in a reduced session.
The Seahorse is a small, boutique spa. Space is limited. With the exception of a parent accompanying a child scheduled for treatment, or a caregiver accompanying a client with special needs, friends/family are not permitted to wait in the treatment room or lobby during your service.
Please do not bring outside food or drink into the Seahorse Salon and Spa.
Smoking is not permitted in or around the Seahorse.
